[WTB] Engine harness and charge harness for obd1 v6

Post by gerald_23 »

I'm currently looking for the engine and charge harness for my 94 gs. I have a klze and as I understand the stock engine harness will work for what i need. I'm not too sure if the charge harness (from the alternator to the starter to the battery and fuse panel) is different at all. if so then i need one for the klze. I'm in Hamilton Ontario if anyone is looking to ship

Why don't you explain what your problem is. 94 is unique in so far as the ECU and disty go. Do you need to use a disty with a cam sensor for mega squirt?

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Ok. Long story short this car is far from wired properly. I bought the car in October and before I could do anything to the car the starter area caught on fire while cranking. It would cranking but not start. After 3 attempts at cranking it one day I saw smoke and then...fire. It burnt the engine harness pretty badly and the wires to the starter and the pos wire to the battery. So right now i'm on a mission to fix it so i can atleast get my car running. This was suppose to be my winter project but this is a huge bump in the road. As far as ecu and disty go the car has a stock computer with a probenator chip and the does not have megasquirt. I'm sorry if you need more info but I'm still trying to learn alot of the technical stuff with this car

Really the ECU is fine unless he was ODBII (which he's not since he's running a Probinator), he would just need the harness, and with the matching disty to make his life easier in trying to track down the proper one.
