header question & EGR fitting size?
Just bought some cheap ebay headers and I bolted it all together to get a good glimpse of what it looks like, and it looks to me that the rear header is not terribly strait is this normal?

Re: header question
I'm pretty sure it will be okay. Just remember to bolt up the rear before the front, so you are fighting with the most leverage when lining up the front.

Re: header question
I think my eyes are getting worse every day but I measured it and it should be OK. Also should I leave my two bottom OBD2 sensors unplugged & and my egr valve or leave them?

Re: header question
1. OK one problem I have is that the EGR pipe they sent was a pain to install had to bend the s--- out of it in order to install it. Also should I bypass the EGR or leave it? Is there any benefits?
![Image](http://www.srsairbags.ca/mx3imgs/IMG_0116.JPG)
2. The down pipe is touching the oil pan I'm wondering if I should heat it up with the torch and slightly bend it down? I'm wondering if this will heat up the engine oil.

3. I reused the header metal gaskets since they their reusable, has anyone else left the original metal gaskets? They are not leaking but just wondering.

Re: header question (Install)
I bought the egay ones too, mine fit ok. Only had to bend over the fron 2" or so. They don't touch the pan, but get close. They're cheaply made without a jig, so they warp differently for each unit...

Re: header question (Install)
Expect to take at least 3 or 4 hours to install, pain to do the rear header the front is not that bad. The EGR pipe is the hardest part I found.

Re: header question (Install)
EGR on or off is your call. Benefits and detriments to it. Personally, I found the benefits to outweigh the detriments.
I'd use the stamped gaskets they provide, they are decent quality. Keep the metal ones though. As a plus, the extra thickness will help push the Y pipe away from your pan.
The exhaust on the pan is bad. If it doesn't rub a hole in the pan, it will vibrate and be annoying.
