Wow the motor pic looks soo good! Why do you not turn the intake down into the open well there?

Looks schmick, and geez you've done some nice work to that motor! It's pretty rare that something jammed with that much custom mechanicals looks so tidy & beautiful! Great work!

Thanks Jordan! There's a flat metal sheet covers that area because the fuse box is under it. However, there is a hose from the fog into a trumpet recessed on the sheet to feed in cold air. Should really take a pic of it sometime...solo_ryder wrote:Wow the motor pic looks soo good! Why do you not turn the intake down into the open well there?
HAha I know! There was a skyline in that convoy too, yet he didn't get any pics! Thanks Ethanethand wrote:Wow!! Nice work! And your car was the one with the most number of photos on that website of anything there!!

Re: Marco's '95GS-TURBO :D 5 Stud conversion! + SSR Type C r
It's been a while since any updates. I've been flat out with exams. Finally have a bit of time about me so I tried these again today!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYLKzQzh ... e=youtu.be
Since last time several important changes:
-Jenvey linkage between the two banks, £130+ odd of precision engineering... ouch but made all the difference
-Adjusted the spacing so they are more perfectly inline
-gave the return springs an extra wrap to snap back down more firmly
-flattened down the flanges to seal better
-opted to use the thermoblok spacers to give more room and a longer intake tract.
You can see they're idling a LOT better. Currently my carPC has been crashing a lot so I can't try and tune until I sort that![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

he's only running it without filters because he's only getting it to idle and not driving around, i'm sure if he was gonna drive around he'd put some filters on

That motor is disgustingly clean
The Surgeon General I'm sure wouldn't mind it sitting in an operating room somewhere. Congrats on the build!
