Hi,
i have an B6DE MX3 1.6 95...
That's the same engine than MX5 1,6.. with a minor changes only.

Re: Will these parts fit ?
Welcome.
I have read, using the search function on the site.........
That the miata cams can fit, but they need to be swapped as the disty is reversed intake/exhaust. Then they need to be rotated. You may need to search and check that for yourself as I am not 100% sure.

But rotating the cams can change the functionality ?
And the flywheel ? Is the same ?
Thanks!

Re: Will these parts fit ?
what RS is saying is that on your B6, the distributor is exhaust cam driven. On the Miata, it may be intake cam driven, which means your distributor wouldn't plug into the aftermarket exhaust cam. You see?
If the profiles are still and upgrade when used on the wrong side, you'll need adjustable cam gears to fine tune them (since they'll need to be rotated 180º or so to convert from intake function to exhaust function, and the teeth on the gear should not be fine enough tuning for you)
This does work, you can read on the exhintake mod on clubprotege, its possible to interchange them.
So, its very likely it will work, but it won't be plug and play. You'll have to do some homework.
Check to make sure the specs on the flywheel are the same. It may have a different starter ring profile (I doubt it) and the clutch surface may not be the same size, and the crank may have a different bolt pattern if the motors use different cranks.
So ask the supplier how many teeth are on the starter ring, the two dimensions of the clutch surface, and the crank bolt pattern. Then you'll know if it fits.
