Denso vis Walbro Fuel Pumps, which to Buy?

I need to replace my pump and I'm not sure which pump to buy. Denso has always been a good name but are their pumps dependable? Of course they're a good buy, they're great pumps! Just make sure not to get the high-pressure version, apparently they like to blow the OEM FPR

Well it says the Walbro TCA380 OE Replacement Fuel Pump Kit is rated to operate at 12 volts and has a minimum flow of 79 liters per hour against a normal operating pressure of 43 psi. This is the new pump that is a little longer than their older model so I'm hoping I won't have to modify anything,

Hmm, well, typically we get the 255lph ones, there's also the 190lph, but I really don't hear anyone running those anymore. I remember hearing problems about them LONG ago.

Mine was an Mx-6 fuel pump, and ordered by from a local shop. Mind you, that's what people were running back when I got mine, and there was NO listing for an Mx3-compatible pump back in the day (and they don't list an Xterra-compatible today, joy!). I don't actually remember even using a harness with mine, just plugged in, tweeked the mounting bracket, and she was done. I had ordered the LP version, installed it and never looked it again, but John was looking at getting mine, and with the part number, he said it was the HP version.









Over 100'000kms on the system and it all looks mint. Talk to Miguel, I hear he may be parting out his car, and he's got my old pump and sending unit.
