anyone know how much work this thing needs to fit? is it the same basic shape as our bumper and just needs to be shortened or lengthened? or is there major work involved in making it fit? im thinking the mazda speed bumper, this rear lip and some nice sides would look very nice.

Has to be cut in the middle or sides IIRC and shortened. Then plastic welded/bondo'd/glassed back together. Not worth the hassle unless you are good with that kinda stuff. I am sure you could do it Mike, but I doubt you will find one for cheap, they are a quality oem part. May get lucky on CL but the A-Spec model is pretty raremikeinaus wrote:anyone know how much work this thing needs to fit? is it the same basic shape as our bumper and just needs to be shortened or lengthened? or is there major work involved in making it fit? im thinking the mazda speed bumper, this rear lip and some nice sides would look very nice.

Re: Two rear bumper lip options for your mx-3.
i just so happened to find an ad on craigslist with a 02-04 rsx rear lip for $60. i sent the guy an email asking if it was the same one so hopefully it works out. i wonder what the regular rsx lip with the muffler cut out would look like on our bumpers. probably not as nice as the a-spec but would probably look alrightsolo_ryder wrote:Has to be cut in the middle or sides IIRC and shortened. There is no regular RSX lip. The 02-04's have no lip and the 05+ have what looks like a lip but I think its integrated into the bumper.

Nah I'll stick with my civic lip ta, it cost me twenty quid.
That RSX lip needs to have those ghastly strakes removed
for me to like it that much![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: Two rear bumper lip options for your mx-3.
yeah but think of it bro thats just the style of the rear lip i like you could chose any lip u wanted and make it work there are so many option for an rsx out there so the lip market is pretty stacked and i know that no one would want those cheap lip options they look a little tacky imo
