FS: Two K8's, mx3 blown trans, *CHEAP**abbotsford, bc*

Thought i would post this stuff up for sale before i take it to the scrapyard

I have two complete K8's with the intake/exhuast manifolds attached with the TB's and injectors etc.

The first one i got from pick a part but chose not to use it because the spark plugs were out and some water got in there and rusted the cylinders up a bit. Engine still turns over and get compression and im sure would run if you put a but of oil down the cylinder and let it run for a bit. Otherwise its totally rebuildable. No bent valves or anything and it came from a car with 180 000 km's on it.

The Second engine got overheated and blew the headgasket or warped the heads. It was blowing white smoke and over-pressurizing the cooling system. Car still ran fine besides that so im sure new headgaskets and machine the heads a bit and it would also be fine. engine had 250 000 km's on it.


Have a k8 blown auto trans for parts if anyone interested.

have other various parts if anyone wants them and i can take parts off the engines and sell them separatly such as manifolds, injectors, wiring harness parts, sensors, heads, valve covers, Exhaust Y pipe.

I dont need any atm but I would definatly save the tensioners before you toss the engines. Never hurts to have a spare, Ik the powersteering ones like to break every now and then

Also have crank sensors, knock sensors, harmonic balancer, throttle bodys, intake manis and fuel injectos and rails all for a k8.

Also have a good shape clutch and flywheel from a 5speed k8

Am I to assume the flywheel is a freebie as well?(Not including shipping)

Hmm, My plans have changed slightly for my build; You should have NO problem unloading flywheels on ProbeTalk or MX6.com though, the KL Flywheel is a beast. They'd buy it fairly quickly I imagine.

How much do the k8 flywheels usually sell for?

Also what would you pay for all the retainers if I was to remove them

Anything else I should grab from the engines before I bring them in for scrap?
