bpt engine wont kick over

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

bpt engine wont kick over

hey i recently put a mazda bpt turbo into y 30x(mx3) had a b6 motor in it to start wth
put the bpt wiringloom and ecu aswell
prolem is it wont start starter isnt even clicking
all lights on dash work though any1 hd this problem before

you are not getting any power to the starter from the ignition switch, make sure that you connected that right and check for blown fuses.

BP engine fuse is 15amp and not 10amp like the B6.

also if you have a 94+ you have to swap 2 wires, otherwise that'd be blowing your engine fuse if not swapped.

i swapped the 2 wires over . which ones the engine fuse and ho do i know if its blown

i red in a post you need to use the origianl mx3 ecu not the gtx is that right

i just read if there is an immobiliser on the car and its intergated into the standard ecu it wont start with the new ecu
