KLZE 101 HEADS

One thing id like to see finely put to rest is the origen of the KLZE engine with the KL101 heads.I know 95% of KLZE came with the KL31 heads.And later in the dying years mazda put KL101 haeds on them for polision reasons etc.Id just like to have a answer for once and know which mazda it came out of,626.MX6,800,etc.What power it had compered to the KLZE KL31.Ive freaking looked for mouths tring to find the right info with little luck.Please guys help us out your my only hope all other mx3 sites are second best to youz...

Yes they may of changed the heads on the later year ZE's, but they're also running lower compressions 9.5:1 pistons too. Sure it may be a "true" KLZE, but it's not "the" 198hp KLZE.

Nd4SpdSe can you elaborate. I profess my ignorance of this before God and Man. I never know we had KLZE's that had lowered HP.

Hey guys finely found out what engine i got in my mx3,its a KLDE KL-G4 from a mazda 626 year 98-2002.Thanx for all the info you gave us.Cheers
