Took the MX-326GS to the track. The track was very slippery, but if you check the MPH the car is capable of some good times. One mistake I made was filling the gas tank, I assumed that once I got to the track (hour and a half away), that I would have used most of it. The traffic free commute to the track in 5th gear used virtually no fuel. I had 3/4 when I arrived. I dropped the clutch @ 2500-3000 RPM and tried to ease it out of the hole, but 1rst and 2nd gear were plagued with lots of wheel spin. The ZEX Blackout nitrous kit is really cool. It adjusts the fuel enrichment based on bottle pressure. So even after the bottle was practacally empty, I was still running a few 10th's quicker then N/A. Usually with nitrous you only get a few good runs and after the bottle gets low on pressure the car starts running pig rich.

Ran my car friday night. Copied from my worklog:

KLDE, Mx-3 Trans, ACT stg2 clutch, k8 flywheel, k8 Intake manifold, Ebay headers, no cat, je50 VAF and K8 ECU. Using NEW bfgoodrich touring tires. They were horrible for traction but that's all I had to work with.

First run:
15.8 91 mph 35psi tires

Second Run:
15.1 94 mph 26psi tires

Third run:
15.0 95 mph 26psi tires

I REALLY wanted to break 14's...but ran out of time.

in like 03' - 04' I ran a 14.1 in the 1/4 in my RS when it was FWD. It was a built B6DE motor with a IHI vj 11/14 hybrid on 6psi.

Was running 15psi but popped a hole in my IC in my 60' and lost pressure to 6psi. Never ran it at the track again unfortunately. should have been in the low mid 13's easily :'( Oh by the way, it had full interior and spare in the rear, but I was running nitto drag radials on OE honeycomb flower powers :)

13.615 is very respectable. Wheel spin kills every time. Too bad we didn't have some kind of launch control for our cars, that might help,,,or maybe some nice extra sticky slicks.

And that trap speed would yield a much lower number in the 1/8. 140mph 1/8 mile is FAST :P
