Post by DiaMagus »

Wondering where I should get pistons, rods. Ive heard about the millenia s rods being forged and working for the task at hand. I can't find the 8.5:1 wiseco pistons anywhere. Anybody have a second and some advice, Im rebuilding a ZE when I rtv'ed the cradle I did a horse **** job and now its coming back to haunt me. Thanks. Any help would be much appreciated I want to run 20 lbs + stock ze heads I have a de block etc etc Thanks guys appreciate all the help with all my stupid posts in the past haha...

I found some of the 8.5:1 weisco pistons, but I'm not sure of the shipping though. Your gonna have to dig though the site to find them, it won't let me do a direct link.

Run DE heads with ZE cams. Or rebuild tHem with better valve springs.

If you use the Ze stock heads your going to drop a valve gaurenteed.

It has been shown that the "Dropping a ZE valve myth"...is a myth. Everybody says they know a guy who had it happen but the PT guys did some investigating and it only ever actually happened like twice that they could actually confirm.

IF you're going to run 20psi I would be more concerned with head gaskets and and studs. and yeah...ipp.com is the place for all that stuff.

Interprep http://interpreptuning.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; makes everything you need. But it's not cheap stuff.
