Re: awr mounts confused
I have been thinking about it. The reason AWR charges so much is because there are about 7 or 8 processes required to make that little front bracket. I think a better solution would be either inserts or something which replaces the stock rubber of the mount altogether...much like the suspension bushings. That would be fairly simple and very inexpensive.
This is something I think we could definitely do.

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

I did my last set in 80A 4 years ago and they're still good. I just replaced them with 94A only because I was doing a set for someone else and we had extra urethane.johnmx3ze wrote:ah crap!

Hockey pucks are a bad idea. I've seen people do it, but people have also mentioned them for use for body lift on our trucks. Apparently they deteriorate over time.johnmx3ze wrote:

Re: awr mounts confused
Although they are hard, hockey pucks are still just rubber. They will break down even more quickly than the stock motor mounts.
