Intake Manifold, Gasket or not?

Post by cthb533 »

Going to take the Intake manifold off my 92 GS auto 1.8L to fix a vacuum leak and clean it out. Tried to buy a new gasket today at the auto parts store and they could not find a listing for one. Been searching on the internet and I cant find one either. Could someone point me in the right direction?

If you're going to go with OEM replacement you might as well get the official Mazda part. Online at this link look under fuel system, fuel induction, intake. Mazda replacement intake manifold gasket is < $10 each.

Ordering the ones from Mazda-Parts.com. I knew you had to be able to get it somewhere. Thanks.

You are lucky in the USA for auto parts, I m amazed at what Rockauto offers down there. Id look there, they usually have lots of different brands and decent prices. They usually have everything except I cant find an EGR valve position sensor.

shipping to Canada doubles the price so its a rip-off for us.

My sentiments exactly. It is, however, very useful for finding part numbers and whether or not a part is actually made. Mind you, they're American part numbers, so it can be a bit of a brain f--- trying to order those parts from the highly intelligent auto parts store employees.

No offense Inodoro
