I like the 94+ more. I'd like it better if it DID NOT have cupholders... People like to spill things.

I prefer 92/93 and I added in a cupholder. The round bubble vents just seem cheezy lookin to me.

Really? I gotta try that next time.

wow that actually works, then to move em again you pull it out and it sorta unlocks to move it, lol thats halarous, ive only owned my car for 6 years and have always dealt with the loose vents falling down

Yeah, once I figured that out I liked the vents alot better. I had taken them apart initially and was going to add some new felt or material to aid in this, but realized they just needed to be pushed in w/ moderate force.

Have any of you "wedge loving" 92 dash guys ever had or driving a car with a 94 dash? Maybe u should do that before saying anything. I have owned both versions and the 94 dash is a nice facelift for the car. Not to mention the shift boot is better, cupholders, better hvac (at least in my opinion) and a nicer passenger area.

Shift boot is definitely higher in the 94+ dash, making it look like you have a shorter shifter. I think the 92 dash is too plain for a car w/ so much styling.

Yeh i agree
i would prefer if the shifter base was a bit higher still
and had a round shifter bezel like the mx5
kinda like this..

It would go hand in hand with the styling of the vents i think
gotta try this sometime http://www.v6z24.com/howto/shifterbezel

Gettin a little defensive are we??? Look, these are just people's opinions. Just because there are people out there that don't agree with you doesn't mean their wrong in some way. And to answer your question, yes, i have driven a 95 MX3, and I still prefer the 92 version dash. Like I said, just my opinion...

Defensive? Idk about that, just bringing up a point.

No need to lecture me about what I post lol, I realize that everyone is entitled to there opinion and I don't have a issue with that. Just trying to bring up a point and what I like about the 94 dash. Have fun with your wedge dash :p

This poll is alot closer than I thought it would be - I didn't know so many people liked the 92 style dash. I can understand liking the EURO vents and goodies that can be added to it, but in it's USDM or Canadian stock form, its too plain and simple for me. I like gadgets though, and don't want everything to be simple.

Another plus for me is that the 94+ dash has a slightly bigger radio area/bezel meaning you can fit a larger in dash display if you were to mold one in. (Which is what I eventually plan on doing)

There's a problem with that, the probe has a high bezel and if you get a really short throw shifter it can literally sit almost level with the plastic, which looks terrible and must be really uncomfortable.

Hmmmmm that circle shift bezel has not got me thinking..... :welder:

If I was going to go and mod my interior again.... I would for sure turn the center console part toward the driver.... Just like the RX7 and Supras have.... I don't think it would be that difficult just some more fiberglass and twisting! :welder:
