lol, yah the douche said he was going to hold them until we got down there to pick them up. then he phoned just as we got there saying he sold them....like 5 minutes from his place. i was picking the rims and tires up for a friends rs that has pretty poor steelies and rubber. as well as the blue gs with miss matched rims on craigslist said his car was in pretty good shape only to find out that there was about 5 really bad rust spots, its a alberta car that needs to be registered with the front window needing to be replaced. he wasted 3 hours of time and a crap load of gas to drive across van with the f350 and trailer. then another guy with some kendo sticks descided to take his holidays after he set up a time for us to pick them up in van as well. so i got my set of panther 15" rims for winter after getting lost in suberbia hell in chilliwack, picked up my intercooler couplers and t-clamps from sumas.....so that part of the trip was ok.

Thanks!

So abit of a update..

- Installed the rims and tires I got after a good clean. Tires are great
- Fixed the constant fan issue I had by wiring the 2nd CTS to my ecu (thx RX8)
- Fixed a camber issue for the most part on the front by turning the strut mounts 180 degrees

Some crap that I need to fix:

- AC is fuxerd. I need to get the system vac'd and install another compressor which I have here
- Vacuumed up my cigarette lighter when cleaning my car haha. Need another!

Wow, been some time since a update.. I have been itching to show you all some of my new photos since I have acquired a Canon Rebel XS DSLR. Here are some recent shots.. Keep in mind that I have had the camera for about 2-3 weeks and I have very little experience with Photoshop and/or Photomatix (for the ones that are modified) so go easy on me guys :P

My car will rival this someday - soon hopefully, getting bushings this summer to complete my full suspension upgrade, and if I can paint her like I want to, the only thing I will need is rims :)

So.. Stranded in Vernon.. My rad decided to start a slow leak. The problem is that it is a leak I cannot repair. It is in a area on the rad I cannot access. I need to take the rad into a repair shop and have it looked at or fork out some coin for a new rad :S The leak only happens when under pressure and only when it is at full heat it seems. Although it is slow, I don't wanna mess around with a possible overheat, especially considering it is 35 degrees here and I have the A/C on all the time.

I have taken the opportunity to do a oil change, top up the tranny fluid (from recent cv fix), get a new rad cap and do a coolant flush.. Even though I have taken the rad out after I put new coolant in, but no matter. I also reinstalled my coolant overflow tank as I was not running one since I installed my SRI. I found some light green caked on crap in the filler neck nearest the headlight so I think that may have something to do with the fact there is no overflow hooked up. Here are some pics:

The leak is just under the upper neck on the left of the pic, it seems to come out behind of the area where the metal is bent over the plastic, possible seal issue? We will see.

Oh ya.. I just realized that my car has over 257,000 km  Thats about 25k on my KLZE with no issues at all.. Well after I got it running of course :)

Well, after the rad incident it seems that the car needed some TLC.. AKA, new parts.

New Radiator
DS and PS wheel bearings
DS ball joint
DS and PS CV axles
4 Wheel alignment

Car drives alot better now and tighter.

I also picked up a OEM 2 pc bra today with original receipt from 94 and instructions! $5.00!

Your car is actually one of the reasons I spend so much time and money on my car. I want mine to look as good as your does.
