HELP, coolant leak problems
HELP, coolant leak problems
I have an anoying coolant leak oon my '92 RS. It looks like it's coming from the water pump (the drips come out right at the bottem of the crankshaft). I've got all the gaskets and stuff I need, I just can't 1. find the radiator drain plug, and 2. get the lock bolt off of the crankshaft.
I've used all the manuals I have (Online, Chiltons, and owners manual). Where the manuals say the plug should be all I can find is the hose to the thermostat. If anyone has a pic I would REALLY appreciate it.
The lock bolt on the crankshaft is too hard to get off, Is there a special tool that has to be used? Is there some trick? Is it counter threded?
Thanks tk1138

The radiator drain plug is in the center, below the radiator...... and for remove the bolt it is necessary that you uses a air tools...

Re: HELP, coolant leak problems
dude change your water pump, iam in the middle of changing mine, it's gonna be better in the long run
you can use a long breaker bar for the crankshaft bolt, and hold a flywheel with a pry bar
worked for me
Check out my ride and leave some feedback please!
