Ok, you have missed the point. If you have the time to do a google search on no name afpr's.. and BOV's (that's a good one. All based on the same diaphram, in theory) you'll see that quality parts do into the quality units and sh1t goes into the cheap ones.

If the diaphram fails, that means you may not be getting the fuel your engine needs. This will cause your engine to lean out. All because you wanted to pay 20 bucks on something you should have paid 150 for.

Therefore:

$16.00 + rebuild > $150.00

And I do not want to read "but I'm a student.. boo hoo." Do it right or don't do it at all. Save up, get a paper route.. whatever. OR, do what you want but don't tell others knockoffs are the super sweet. Bad advice should be kept off these pages.

i do agree wit rs_obd... ppl do find out eventually cheaping out will only hurt u in time than if u did it the right way in the first place
