Wankel in an MX-3?

Post by tk1138 »

I heard somewhere some time that you could put a wankel in an MX-3. I haven't heard any reliable sources on it, but with the new RENESIS engine it might be worth looking at. Does any one know about an engine swap for the old RX-7 engine?

lots of fabrication. sub-frame for the rwd motor and transmission, driveshaft, split gas tank, rear diff and axles. and that hasn't even touched base on the wiring nightmare. i'd imagine you could do it for aound 4-5g's...but that's just a guess.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.
