93 Cig. lighter light bulb location?

I just replaced the radio surround and there is a plastic piece to light the area around the lighter, the bulb is on the wiring to the lighter, but I can't seem to see where the bulb fits, is it in the ashtray area? Thanks.

i have this same issue with my 94, the bulb was just danglin it never seemed to light up or anything so i just cut it off

right beside the lighter plug on the backside there is a hole with some tabs in it. this is where you plug the light plug into, it should be a brown push/turn plug with a tiny bulb in it.

The hole is part of the dash? There are 2 large holes only on mine.

I figuered it out, the holder must be on the radio surround but was broke/missing, so I tie strapped the socket to the lighter and now it lights the surround, thanks.
