What's your speed @ 4K rpm?
So Mooneggs asked what MPH I was at @ 4,000 RPM because he wondered what the difference was between my K8 tranny, and his 626 is. Mine is at 79, and his is at 82. Maybe our speedos are off, or something. We both have stock 15" wheels. So, what's your speed at 4K, and what gears do you have?

Re: What's your speed @ 4K rpm?
No matter if you have a K8, KF or KL, your RPM's will not change because of the motor. It'll change cause you've either got a different ratio tranny, or you've changed the size of your tires
Mx-3 & Probe : 4.38:1
626 & Mx-6: 4.11:1
Myself, with my K8 tranny, regardless of K8 or ZE motor, i do about 120km/h @ 4000rpms

Re: What's your speed @ 4K rpm?
With a stock tranny I was doing about 120kph@4000
with 4:11 approx 140kph@4000 (swapped 06/1997 with engine)
with 0.69 5gear swap almost 160kph@4000 (swapped in 1998)
BTW My cars been off the road and in storage since 2001 with a blown tranny.
