Door Rattle WIth Window Downs
Door Rattle WIth Window Downs
Hey guys, this has been bothering me for some time. When my windows are down my door rattle when they are closed. I hate that. It makes the car feel old and cheap. I was wondering how do I get it to sound very solid, sorta "german sedan sound". Does anybody else have similar problem? What did you guys do to fix it?
Re: Door Rattle WIth Window Downs
Take off the door panels and add some dynamat! That should take care of the rattling, unless you can find whats loose and making the noise! ![Welder :welder:](./images/smilies/welder.gif)

Take off the door panels, crank about halfway down and you will see 2 screws that hold the glass into place via the electric motor, make sure those are tight
Re: Door Rattle WIth Window Downs
Well I have tightened those but the window still seems to be loose on the top.
Re: Door Rattle WIth Window Downs
Tighten you window regulator bolts too - they are the ones holding the window mechanism to the door. Make sure the rubber lining on the door around the window channel is still there and functional.

Everything seems to be tight on the bottom, but the glass is loose (on top) when lowered, if that makes any sense?
