from my research - just some JDM are plastic just like some Euro are plastic... I'm not sure what determines whether they got plastic or glass - maybe it's determined by that particular country's laws around safety?

Once I make the roadtrip out here I will swap the black glass headlight set in, I'll figure out if I'm installing the all leather backseat, but that's about it...

eventually it will need a new coat of primer/ flat black - whatever I decide to do and then I need to reclear all the CF parts as the sun has damaged the clearcoat badly :?

I am thinking seriously about getting the slotted vent hood from the NL....

that's about it though for now...

I'm diggin' that Tennessee plate; that's awesome.

Anyway, that paint job looks pretty good for the price: good deal.

I really like the hood. Is that a carbon fiber mazdaspeed hood? Where did you get it?

thanks for the compliments guys! :oops:

the hood is just the invader style CF hood... I got it on a group buy on this board years ago. I don't think that this hood fits the mx-3 very well since it is so boxy and generic (alot of cars have this design of hood)... I really want to get the CF hood from the NL with the slits in the sides.... :love:

ok well after much debate I finally decided to put the blacked out euro headlamps on the fast car and man... that was a GREAT decision - it looks SICK :o

This is how I painted the lights...
http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=64674" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and I'm really upset because I can't get a good picture of how the lights look... anyways maybe you can see the difference :shrug: here's the step by step installation :) I had to modify some of the tabs to fit near the hood pin bolts and then I used large washers if the tabs were missing...
