Poping noise
Poping noise
I hear a popping noise from my drivers side front wheel well whenever I turn to the right. I'm thinking the joints are bad, but I just wanted a second, third, maybe a 27th oppinion. Thanks peeps

Re: Poping noise
OPINION #2: It appears as though you are correct in your thoughts of it being your cv joint. Kudos to you

Re: Poping noise
it's best to just replace them. prices vary on where you get them and if you have someone else remove/install.

Re: Poping noise
I have the same problem. the mechanic told me its the strut, so after $200 he replaced it and the sound is still there. I went back to him and he told me that its the "insert"that needs to be replaced. Is this guy full of S#!T? what the hell is the insert?? He said it has to be ordered from Mazda and costs about $50 can. I think he's full of it. The jackass replaced a perfectly good strut.
