I searched the forums and I didn't come up with anything definite. What I want to know is, will a BP disty fit into a 94 B6DE? I want to make sure before I spend some money on a BP disty. When searching for a B6DE disty on car-part.com it brings up a disty from a 1996 Protege BP engine.
Also, I want to do the HEI and external coil mod, but will my broken disty work? It has a crack on the plastic (not rotor or cap). Here is a pic
in the circle there is a crack. Can I use this disty for the mod? Lastly, could someone post a pic of the HEI and external coil mod on their 4 cyc?
i jus did a 94 doch b6 swap to a 95-99 bp swap and i used my distibutor, seems to be workin fine. i also used my spark plugs to from the b6de cause the ones in the bp had broken seals. but i am runnin bosch platinums too..
