HOLD BUTTON FLASHES

HEY GUYS IM NEW TO THE MX FORUM I RECENTELY ACCUIRED A MX3 FOR MY DAUGHTER ,IM A PROBE GUY OWN 3 GT S IT BELONG TO MY FRIENDS MOTHER AND IT BEGAN HAVEIN ISSUES WITH THE TRANNY I CAN START THE CAR AND PUT IN GEAR AND WILL GO BUT SHORTLY AFTER THE HOLD BUTTON FLASHES AND THENWILLNOT GO I SHUT CAR OFF TO RESET AND CAR WILL SHIFT BUT ONLYFOR A FEW MINUTES AND THE HOLD BUTTON FLASHES AGAIN .IVE BEEN DOING SOME RESEARCH IS THIS A SENSOR ?ECU PROBLEM OR IS THE TRANNY DONE ITS A 4CYL AUTOMATIC .HELP ME OUT GUYS !!!!

Check the online manual back on mx-3.com, it outlines the procedure for gaining codes, i forget how it goes off-hand.

check ATF fluid level and condition too

Dude... I thought you were posting about the hold button on your phone, and then I started thinking about the forum name, Transmissions, and I was like "wow... this guy's living in the past, haven't heard a phone call referred to as a transmission in forever."

PS- The Caps Lock button is on the left side of your keyboard, take a look and report back to us.
