megan springs are made for zx2 so they are not gs/rs specific. they will work on either gs or rs

Also here is some good info on the springs...

what spring rate are these?
-megan racing has two spring rates 280/230 and 300/350. the retailer told me they are the 280/230.

how are these springs compared to the other stuff?
-either of these springs are the stiffest spring rates that your can get without going to a full coilover. they are linear rate springs.

how are these springs compared to eibachs?
-eibachs spring bias is made for understeer at the limit. megan springs have a better spring bias and would provide more neutral handling a the limits. eibachs are progressive, megans are linear. eibachs drop 1.3" megan is 1.75"-2"

are these comparable to h&r?
-yes, they have the same drop, and linear rates but megans are stiffer.than h&r and will provide better handling, less body roll and improved steering response over the h&r.

whats the difference between linear and progressive?
-these springs are linear rate as opposed to eibachs, b&g, and st's etc which are progressive. linear rate springs have better ride quality than progressive springs which can allow you to go a little bit stiffer than a progressive spring while still riding pretty comparable but with better handling. the handling of linear rate springs is much more predictable where as a progressive spring is never the same due to weight transfer and road irregularities which are inevitable.

will these work with kyb gr2 or tokico hp?
-if you live where they have decent roads high levels of damping is not necessary. kyb states that the gr2 is valved in about 2-3 on the agx or 15-30% more damping force over stock. similar to the tokico hp (blue) both should be fine for megan springs.

kyb gr2 and tokico hp are not enough to handle megan springs!
- NOT TRUE! spring rate does not require a specific amount of damping force. a car with 500/500 driving on a tarmac rally will not need the same damping force as a car with 500/500 doing a off road rally race. "proper damping" is also a relative term as each person has different tastes for every situation. overdamping provides excessively harsh ride. underdamping makes the ride feel bouncy.

will these work with s/r struts?
-several zx2 owners (sr and non sr owners) have used either spring choices with s/r struts and are very impressed with the results.
