Re: e2blade 1993 Mazda Protege (MX-3 R.I.P.)
So
I was suggested that i make a worklog
so lets start with
I bought the car last year in August
From some old dude
It had 33,XXX Miles
So lets start with what it looked like when i got it
This is crappy camera from 1999
so deal with it lol
icky eh?
so yea i had to deal with it
later on
my neighbors peacocks
decided to attack my rear bumper
you'll see the marks in the picture below...
the butthole had the nerve to say, "Well your out in the country"
so i went red neck style and pulled out the trusty 1000 FPS pellet gun
they havnt attacked it since.
so then i got a little money and bought this
i would post dates, but im to lazy to look at my receipts
i wanted my local performance shop to make a custom cold air intake, but the lazy bastards told me to go do my self.. so i did , i figured id keep it like that since im goin to swap with a bpt.
Now a few months later
grr i didnt get to take a pic of the under carriage cause the guy wouldnt let me in the garage... but to let you know its a 3" from the cat, didnt wanna waste money on headers cause tada, the swap haha. and its angled down cause its so huge lmao.
and then i got these
notice anything?
yea the strut bars lol
thiers another 1 in the back
(jezz i hope so)
and i took off the cover for the headers
you know why
CAUSE I CAN
Ive cleaned the engine up a bit
and just discovered that half of the block is black LOL
and my trannies sliver, amazing what $.99 engine cleaner can do
i got into a hit in run in a parking lot
so theres a dent on the drivers side on the rear quarter panel right next to the door
i wasnt a happy camper exactly
and of course my rear bumper....
but body work is my least concerns, since im "Out in the country" im not gonna worry about it tell the last part of this project
and the most current upgrade so far is this
their not in yet....
u may ask why
cause im a tardbucket and like to drift and get tickets
so hopefully in 2 weeks i'll have those in cause the old 1s are gettin worse every day.
and the only thing not pictured are my potenzas
their Potenza RE92 All Season's
For all seasons they grip REALLY good
and perform very well in the corners
so yea thats about it, so right now currently
i gotta pay my ticket off and get those brakes in
and the next thing is to get a full tein coil over set.
I go racing next month at our local autocross located at gowen field in boise idaho
then in April i'll be doing high school drags
well i guess this isnt gonna be updated for a long time tell i get my brakes in
i'll get pics of that
well latter
