B6 DOHC possibly for sale
Guys, I found a Mercury Capri with a B6 at the yard, and was wondering if anyone was interested in getting it. I do't have milage figures yet, as I forgot to look that day, but the motor was running when it was wrecked. Motor looks to be complete, but the intake manifold has been removed, and was sitting on the front seat. I'll have to check to make sure everything is there. Make an offer, I'd prefer not to ship.
[ January 16, 2003: Message edited by: thecause17 ]

Will do. I'll get pics for you when I go too. THe engine was dressed up a bit from what I've seen other B6's look like. Red and black valve cover, and the intake manifold was black too. I'm sure that won't matter to you though, you'll change it to meet your taste. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: B6 DOHC possibly for sale
Just letting you know I havent' forgotten or abandoned this. It's just be so damn cold I haven't been willing to venture out to the yard quite yet. I'm gonna suck it up and go out on Wednesday for it though.
At least that's the plan so far. We've been getting snow almost ever day now.

And to those of you have are not interested in the whole motor, but only parts of it, if he doesn't take it, it WILL be parted out. Cams, intake manifold, valve cover, head, and even the shortblock if someone wants it.
[ January 20, 2003: Message edited by: thecause17 ]

65,000 miles on the odometer.
The engine is missing a few things, like the TB, and airflow sensor and stuff. The intake manifold was removed, but is still there. I couldnt' get a pic, my digicam decided it didn't like the cold and woulnd't work for me out there. Let me know.

Well since you said, just get the milage, I didn't make a huge effort to get you a pic. And like I said, my camera crapped out on me.
make me an offer on it. Otherwise I'll be parting it out real soon.
