I have no manual and I need to check the fluid level/condition in my Mother-in-law's Mx3. Can someone give me some advice? It has an auto transmission and its a 92 with 1.6L motor.
Thanks!

let the vehicle warm up completely, then check the trans fluid level while it's idling, add the correct trans fluid if needed, the assistants at the any parts house will be able to look up the type for your vehicle...

might i add the car must be in park when checking the fluid level. Check the fluids color, if its still bright cherry color it is in good condition, if its getting a brown haze to it, give it a quick sniff and smell for a burnt smell. If anything is found, i recomend doing a complete filter change and transmission flush.
