Idle Air Control Valve (SOHC B6)

Is there a guide somewhere on how to set these things?

Or at least a pinout so I can manually open and close it while I'm cleaning

I don't know what you mean by "set." The iac valve has no settings and operates automatically. I would like to remove mine for cleaning, if it can be cleaned, but I can't figure how to take it off. I see one screw and nothing else holding it on, if I am looking at the right part (black plastic part under the throttle body). When I remove that screw, the part does not want to come off. Don't want to pull too hard for fear of breaking it.
