Intake compatibility....

Post by mx3gtracer »

Does anybody know if the air intakes on the v6 models are the same as on the 4 cyl.? I'm wanting to know because I found a cold air intake for the v6 for like 80 bucks but I want to know for sure if it'll fit or not. right now all I have is a cone filter strapped to the air sensor so I want to finish my intake lol. the sensor type I have is the cylinder style not the box like some models, so all I need are the two sections of pipe that would work with it.

no. And if you run a filter strapped to the maf you run the risk of cracking it.
