Be careful....If you have an airbag in the steering wheel. You need to make sure you first disconnect the battery. I am pretty sure you need a special tool to deactivate the airbag...not entirely sure.

Take off the horn cover

take off the center nut (I think it's a 22mm)

place both feet on dash and pull (a helmet and mouth guard required)

If u wiggle it while pulling (no pun intended) it should come off easier.

One way to keep your chicklets in your mouth is to go to Canadian Tire or Partsource, they have a loan-a-tool program including a steering wheel puller. Pay for the tool ($30) and bring it back within 3 days for a full refund. It worked like a charm for me.

i think its pretty much the same procedure - disconnect battery and take of the cover with the horn buttons and airbag - it should come right off and you can just unplug the airbag connectors - be very careful though. If you dont put the airbag back on you might have a constant airbag light in the dash....
