I am going S/C for my KL-ZE. Procharger makes a universal S/C kit for imports and sport compact cars.

Here is a question I just thought of
Is it a pain in the butt to install a driveshaft on our cars for the S/C? How much would a Driveshaft cost and how hard are they to find? Anyway to make a custom reliable driveshaft?

I am pretty sure its transfershaft. Some people on this forum are experimenting on that right now. I believe a procharger is the best choice though.

I dont know, its centrifugal though
I might as well go with a turbo if I was to go for that? I mean, it dosent give full boost till the higher RPMs (centrifugal)
I'd like to go for a Roots for the low-end power
I dont plan to go for 20PSI
6 to 8PSI would do me good
Its ether T3 or M65 (Roots)

Yeah but your also loosing more power in the beginning with a roots. It takes a lot more power to make power, making power loss. With a centrifugal, you might be making the power at say 1,500 but loosing less power than a roots. You can get some pretty gnarly numbers off a centrifugal as well.

roots n screw kick the crap out of centrifugal in the low rpm band...even when considering parrasitic drag...

The only concern I have for a S/C is the "transfere shaft"
I know Jeff had alot of problems with his old S/C MX3
Not many people since then have tried a S/C
If a transfere shaft is too expensive or too unrealiable then I would rather go for a T3 Turbo
anyone know any info on transfere shafts?
