yep that's your IAC or BAC valve (i've heard them called both). mine is wired up to a PWM output on my haltech....so i guess it would be "PWM style".

on my haltech, one wire goes to the PWM output, the other is wired to 14.7 volts +.

they sound great. they are not free air, but im uing them as free air, 25 watts per sub. 4 ohms. high quality everything, except for the subs themselves.

if it was the ground how was it going to get volts, from the intake?

def not the ground if it is one wire. it would ground itself to the intake.

yea i think the wire you are talking about would be to a (+) source. if i'm not mistaken, the PWMs always act as the ground.

would this also be called a isc (idle controll solonoid) im trying to find it in the wiring diagrams.

IF it is, then it shows 2 wires going to it, white/red and blue/orange. the blue/orange goes driectly to the ecu and the white/red connects to alot of the other sensors including the distribure (wich we discussed in another topic) and to the ecu.

so if this information is correct, it is safe to state that the white/red is +12vdc and the blue orange is a pwm modified ground. correct?

This also means that the pictue above is NOT the iac valve. or is it and i just didnt see one of the wires?
