The weird sounds xdrilled and slotted make....can we fix it?
Ok, I was fine with a bit if chatter, I knew it was going to happen everything what not...heres what I don't understand...
are the xdrilled and slotted rotors directional....
while driving forward there is a very annoying and loud screeching sound, like metal is rubbing on metal, I thought it might be the tire rubbing the strut...nope it has clearance....
My two options are this...tell me what you think
The rotors are directional and the slots and holes are going in the wrong direction...they are opposite, the sound is coming from the front....the rear there is no sound and the slots are facing the other direction....
Heres a key factor as well...no sound is heard when the car is in reverse...not even from the rear but the rear pads arnt bled correctly, the ebrake doesn't hold....I think the front are perfect, but I believe it has to be the fact that maybe just maybe the rotors are directional?
Oh and Tokico HP and Intrax....damn the car sits low....I bounce off the strut on bouncy turns....

The slots on most are directional. The vanes go " \ " this way when looking at the rotor on the car.

This is the front wheel
this is the rear wheel
Both on the passenger side
this is the rear wheel
Both on the passenger side
Additionally, all of Brembo's slotted discs are directional as well, regardless of the vane geometry. The discs should be installed such that the end of the slot nearest the outer edge of the disc contacts the pad first. Please see figure.

Your front one looks right, but I cannot be sure without more pic to see which wheel we are looking at. Anyway, try and reverse the front to see. It is not much more than an hours work...

According to that, your front rotors are switched around...your back ones are fine.Additionally, all of Brembo's slotted discs are directional as well, regardless of the vane geometry. The discs should be installed such that the end of the slot nearest the outer edge of the disc contacts the pad first. Please see figure
