9TH ANNUAL MISS.MEET!!!!!!
So here is the final details for our 9th Annual Mississauga Meet.
It will be held on Saturday June 24th 12-4pm at Lakefront Promenade Park. Look for the Big Smoke Stacks!! Afterwords there will be a cruise which details can be found at http://www.mx-3.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=51297. Maps can also be found at http://www.mx-3.com/meets/miss8/
There will be a show and shine competition based on 3 different categories to suit everyone and the cars will be voted by all those attending the meet and awards provided to those who win.
The categories are:
1) Best Mx3
2) Cleanest Stock Mx3
3) BEST MOTOR ~ CHANGED
Now also previouslly we had a few people from other clubs come out and check out our meet so maybe I'll even do a best other category if this happens again.
Cars will be judged between 1-2pm and awards presented at 3pm, so to be a part of this please make sure you are there for these times. We are also going to have lunch at 2pm on the dot. I know people come and go so that's why I am setting a time to this. Now to cover the costs of all this, I am requesting that people pay $5 per person to enter their car into the competition and also get lunch. Whatever remains after the costs have been covered will be given to mx3.com. Now this link is mainly for info and to see if we can get an estimated number of all people who are planning on attending. If possible keep me update on your attendance if you have to cancel. It just makes it easier for me in the planning processes.
Thanks and I hope to see alot of MX3'S at the Meet!!!!!!!!!!!

To Verify the cruse route:
12pm-4pm, Meet and BBQ
4:00, leave to head to the cruise starting point
4:30, start the cruise
5:30, rest stop at Port Dalhousie (#6). Maybe arrange a refuel point.
6:00, head back out for the second leg of the cruise

The cruse starting point will be hutches resturant.
Thanks to Nd4SpdSe for getting this all planed out.
I would like to get a coupple of cars together and go for a cruse just to try out the route and make sure it is ok and makes sence. I was thinking for saterday the 17th, anyone who wants to come and have some input is welcome.

Well lets just say a system and any parts that come stock on ANY mx3 is considered stock (whether it was stock on urs or not origianlly) As cars roll in, we will register each vehicle and determine which category they will be put into.
Please add your name to the list if you will be attending.

i guess that depends on your peers since they're the ones voting.JoshVK wrote:define stock.. i have new audio (deck, subs, amp) and front lips (GS) has been painted black after i fixed it?.. this count as stock?
i'd say that if an mx-3 w/ a system was put beside a 100% bone stock mx-3, provided similar body condition (rust, wear, etc), my vote would b on the bone stock.
now if by some chance we don't get anyone with an mx in good condition that is 100% bone stock (ie, if deb doesn't come), then that's when you start looking further into it.
tho, not to be trying to make more prizes than can be handed out....i do believe "best mx-3" could be put into 2 or even 3 categories
ice/interior
engine
body
or at least show vs go
