Im afraid your going to have to be a little more precis about your
question, for a start what motor to what gearbox are you fitting

definitly not the BP box back in.

And where abouts are you trying to fit the speedo???

i'm putting a KL03 2.5 V6 24 Valve DOHC into my 1991 Mazda Protege GT which currently has a BP 1.8 L4 16 Valve DOHC. ok?

So on that note, im using a K8 Transmission like stated in the Title of this post bolted to the KL03 engine!

Now onto the things that matter! i'm using the BP 1.8 speedcable, and im going to attempt to bolt it into THE TRANSMISSION OF THE K8.

I heard somebody in this site made an apapter/spacer so its possible for me to bolt the protege speedcable into the K8 Transmission, does anyone have pics or recollection of this event????

first off your going to need to get the teeth count on the
speedo gear right as there are variation's for final drives.

I have fitted a Autometer Speedo that uses one of the ABS
sensors to get aorund this problem.

I can't remeber if the BP is cable drive or electronic for the
speedo

hey, i know you can fit the speedogear in the tranny, because someone did it on clubprotege and it worked. but it wasnt a good fit. they said someone on mx-3.com made up an adapter to fit it in there properly...i was just wondering if anyone know who this was or what this adapter looks like.
