I'm saying we should all take a drive to this person's house. Block him in with a dozen other MX3s, and see him freak out. Then we'll have a "chat" with the guy, and get the mx back.

I'm down. I don't have an MX-3 but I can do donuts on his lawn with my 4WD Protegé.

What a bloody mess. It's a little known fact that most car thieves get away with their crime.

Oh, I found it alright. It was trying to get the local police to buy into my concept of how it all went down. I believe the individual still lives at the same address. I haven't drove by in the last few weeks but I should take a drive by again this weekend.

Seriously, if we have even enough proof to get the cops to take a second look, it's probably worth the trip. If Steph01 still has evidence, we should make a day of it, or worst case, two day trips in one weekend, just to make sure we get him. I'm all up for that. I want this guy caught.

I think the only way the cops will get interested if they think he's dealing drugs or something.

I was filling up at a gas station in downtown Toronto early last summer when some kid jumped in a guy's car and drove off while he was inside paying for his gas.

He immediately called the cops. They never came.

The way I see it, the cops figure insurance will pay for it, so it's not worth the effort.

It sucks.

Drove by the house today. MX not in the driveway but his g/f's Corrado is. That's the one he used to go to Steph's house originally to look at the car when it was for sale.

Seriously there needs to be some vigilante justice here, if that happened to me there is no way I would have let that go. I would have totally destroyed his car and his girlfriends car and anyone else's car in that drive way. Until people like this learn its not worth while all the problems it will cause him then he'll keep doing it. The reason d--- heads like this keep doing this type of thing is because they know they will get away with it and there is little that can be done, so if you teach him that you aren't going to let it go then he'll think twice before ever doing that to some innocent person again.

That defantly would teach him a lesson, but steph would still be out an mx-3 and all the money he's put into it, and into trying to get it back.
I think this COULD be a better aproach.

Go to http://www.lockpicking101.com and buy a lock picking gun for cars. Its about 100 bucks. If your low on cash and dont' wanna be cheap, then just get the lock pics themselves and do it by hand.

Now, go to this guys car, and freakin steal the damn thing...take all your parts back, and go drive his car into a river. Bang up his gf's car or whatever to get revenge and teach him a lesson...

Then build a garage with a f---ing good alarm. And your good to go.

Et moi aussi, je parle en français. Oui, ici dans Saskatoon, tu peux apprend la français...mais ma français n'est pas si bon que toi. Meh

2 wrongs don't make a right and our legal system sucks, going out there to kick the crap out of this guy won't do anything might make everyone feel better but only until the police arrest you for assult, and he still won;t learn his lesson. If you really want your parts back you should get a person you know to go down there when the cars in the lot pretend to be a huge car enthusiast and ask if they can look under the hood, then get a second person to distract him with some fake door to door selling or pretend they are a je. witness while hes distracted snap some shots of the engine bay, see if you can find anything (scratches, paint, basically anything thats not cleanable) bring up yur old pics, compare then go to the police without mentioning anything about taking pics of his car, show him your pics of yor car hopefully they have a date stamp on them and ask for an officer to escort you out to the guys house to look under his hood. This may seem a little far fetched but I could see it working.
