hell ya i'm interested. i've been compiling all sorts of photos of the hinges as well as how they are mounted. if i could just figure out how to scale the pictures i have...
oh ya and from what i've heard, it's gotta be 1/4" thick if you're using steel. have you guys decided on what material you'll be using? please use something that won't rust like a mofo.

those are the ones sam got and the guy is NOT RELIABLE. he's been banned from here a few times and it took him stupid like 2 months to get sam his hinges. if that wasn't enough sam said they needed modifying and they had surface rust right off the bat.havoc13 wrote:i heard a guy in oshawa sells them for 600 without the shocks
sam or anyone, if i have said something not entirely true please correct me, but i have personally talked to shea a long time ago and he's not that quick.
i still have all my old email conversations with shea including the one where he told me it only costs him $250 CDN to make them and he's charging $600 USD on eBay now. nice mark up for a crap product.

Well... I had been in contact with Sam, and he had said he'd send me his, or at least some prints. My old man has his own shop with some really kickass machinery. He manufactures cranes and barges etc., so enough material for some hinges wouldn't have been too hard to come by. Plus, I have a guy who can do some great powdercoating for cheap...but Sam ended up selling his hinges, and I haven't been able to get ahold of anything since then...

hey guys. i got pics of my hinges installed. email me at dominicanchu_nmbr1@yahoo.com so I can send them to whoever needs'em. The pics are taken from different angles (side, front, top)-helps in determining measurements I guess. I took the pics of them without the shocks so that they wouldn't be in the way. These originally were for another car, so they're a little bigger than Sam's hinges, which are forcing me to make wide body fenders for my car. But I'm sure that the design can be modified for those who want to keep their fenders stock.
