The 6cyl. throttle body fits the B6. So, it should fit the B6T. The 6cyl. throttle body is similar except you can bore it out more to 65mm. Look: web page

You cannot swap from a v6 throttle body to a four cyl. The bolt pattern is totally different.
quote:
Originally posted by justin h:
The 6cyl. throttle body fits the B6. Re: WTB: dohc four cyl throttle body.
Unless your throttle body is completely different than mine, the stock one won't work. Not only are the mounting holes not aligned but the ISC valve is located on the bottom. The isc ends up hitting the injectors. I have looked at all possible ways to do it. The best option is to take the plate out of your stocker, get a machine shop to bore out the B6T TB and use the plate from the stocker to seal it. You would be gaining about 7mm.

how many wires do you have going to your tps?
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

Re: WTB: dohc four cyl throttle body.
My mx has four... the b6t has three. I am now thinking about swapping heads.. This seems like it would be easier.. Still undecided. If I go ahead and swap the head and keep the mx intake I will no longer have to cut a hole in the hood and wiring is almost a snap..almost..
quote:
Originally posted by cre8v mx3:
how many wires do you have going to your tps?

oh, i wonder how many the bpt has...i can't remember now. oh yeah, i found another way to solve the crank angle sensor issue if you can't get a bracket made.

Re: WTB: dohc four cyl throttle body.
it's another option....first, find out the part number's for the 1.6 and 1.8 miata oil pump gaskets. if they are the same, you can use a miata oil pump and trigger wheel. it already has a bracket for the sensor.
