Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, well, all but the barfing similies...

Anyway, now that I actually have the car in my possion (long story), I notice it already HAS a transmission cooler (I think, pic below, if it's not a tranny cooler, what is it??). I guess this is a good thing, maybe means the guy before had taken decent care of it.

I have alot of work to do on this, granted it's in pretty shape as-is I would like to

Get rims
Redo the interior
Engine work (CIA for starters)
Exhaust
get rid of minor dints/dings
Drifting body kit
Paint (black)

Anyway, here are some pics:

and the cooler:

!BINGO! That's the cooler my friend. That'll save you some $ since the previous owner installed it. Now, all you have to do is be certain to stay up on your fluid and filter changes. Remember, to check the color of the tranny fluid often and as soon as it isn't that bright red color any longer..... CHANGE IT!

And don't flush, just change filter and top off...

Does that one look decent? I guess a small cooler is better than no cooler anyway.

It looks strong, and it's a plate/fin type, not a tube/fin type, which is DEFINATELY good. Much better heat transfer.

Whoever had that took care of it.

EDIT: welcome!

That one you have from what I saw looks pretty much like mine. I paid about $60 bucks for it. It's a good one.
