my car tends to rev between 1000 and 2000 rpms when i am stopped at a light or what not. Does anyone know why this could be?

check your stock intake for cracks, especially on the accordion type part.

check your stock intake for cracks, especially on the accordion type part.
Almost certainly - I just had a leak in the line from the PCV valve and the car was doing exactly as you describe.
