Pad Problems

Post by happyclown »

A friend and I replaced the pads and rotors on my car just a couple of months ago... now all of a sudden  im getting a crazy loud squeal comming from my front passenger tire. I was told that when it squeals like this is a warning to get your pads replaced.

This morning when I got to work I cranked the wheel to the right and stuck my head back there and it looks like im almost completly out of pad on the inside! The outside one looks almost as padded as it did when it came out of the box! :?

How is this? How do i stop it so i dont have to replace one pad every few months

well you have to be shure the pad is low if it is did you turn your rotors? what condition are the rotors in? did you put the break squeek preventer stuff on the breaks? is everything on tight? are the break pad springs good?
