i've recently learned how to do this smoothly, and it's great for going around town. but i was wondering if its bad for the tranny/engine?

Re: heel & toe?
yeah $hit is hard to do smothly I was poping the cluch then the inside wheel would spin
Re: heel & toe?
okay, here's how i do it:
1. have all your limbs ready to do the following before you even do anything
a) left hand on the wheel
b) right hand on the shifter
c) left foot on the clutch
d) right foot ready to brake/accelerate
2. as you approach the turn, step on the brake with your "toes" and here's where it gets tough *you must do all these next things simulaneously* --- as you brake:
a) disengage the clutch
b) "stab" the accelerator with your "heel"to up the rpms (you're going into a lower gear)
c) shift down a gear
d) let the clutch engage
3, you might need to shift down more than one gear so repeat the first steps until you reach the right gear
4. if you did all that right you should be in a low gear with the rpm's up in the powerband and ready to enter the turn.
5. after the turn, mash the gas pedal and listen to the sweet sound of the v6.
***if anyone knows more than this and i missed anything, feel free to correct me
Re: heel & toe?
one more thing, this is wat i used to phuck up: make sure you only "stab" at the gas, i used to hold it down and i end up speeding up
Re: heel & toe?
instead of using your right heel to accelerate, you can use the right half of your right foot to accelerate and the left side of your right foot to brake. i have big feet and its a little odd to do it the traditional way.
