I vaguely remember that. Though it would be my first choice and then the MS second. I'm not real a big fan of fiberglass though, and I think if I were fortunate enough to have a J-Spec/E-Spec front bumper cross my path I would probably snap it up.Absath wrote:Yeah, it was announced early last fall, and I signed up to buy the front and sides. And then nothing happened. And nothing continued to happen.
Eventually I gave up and realized it wasn't going to get made, and went with my original first choice, the MS front.

Hi guys!
That's Daniel Toledo's car. He lives here in Brazil. Here's the link for some pics of his recent wide body kit. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/617174/6
Cris Barros, his friend (and mine too) tryied sometime ago deal the shipping and copy of that FB by pakfeifer, but due to shipping costs, time, import taxes and lots of other things, the deal wasn't ever closed. A shame, once I thing this is the best MX3 bumper I've ever seen. I'll try contacting Cris and ask he about retrying it (if you really want). In time, I'm starting some MX3 lambo door hinges project, but it's in the earlier design stages now, so don't spect something for a few months... The only thing I can garantee is that if they ever come to production (if it show financially possible), they wouldn't be cheap backyard stuff. I'm planning to do it in galvanized steel, so they won't never get rust. Stainless steel and a optional chrome finish are being studied to. The final cost would be something between 400 and 500 for the standard one WITH the shocks and WITHOUT the shipping costs. The shipping would be easier than the bumper's because of it's size and resistence. Once the desing is done, I'll post some info and problably see if the group buy can keep the production costs that low.
That's it.
Hope being of some help

Does anyone have an answer on what this is? Is it a custom if so what is the lower half from? It looks Awesome. I like it more than the MS one and that is saying alot since the MS is the only good looking one for our cars. Untill I saw this one that is.

Until Cris is able to send me an original, we cannot go forward; at least not the easy way.
to fabricate this design by mearly looking a pics is not impossible, but too expensive.
To the best of my knowledge, this was custom using an oem bumper as the base.
Cris, When you seriously have some time off; hopefully now that the weather is picking up and vacation time is near, you could drop me an email and try to close this deal!

Or you can go to the MOCA Forum and post there in the MX-3 parts Liquidation area.
I am sure there is just a mixup or something.
