ooELMOoo- Its easy. Since oyu are local it will help on my out big time. What you do it take take off the boot and cover. you will need a set of needle nose plys, and there is a spring that you just pull out on the top, the shifter will drop to the ground, then with a 10mm Socket(I think it a 10) just unbolt it from under you car, it has 2 bolts that hold it in place. If you have any problems, let me know, I can come by and give you a hand taking it out. How much did you want for it? $10?
Didlin, I'll keep you as a back up, Yes i just need the shifter.
I have a TWN shortshifter installed right now, but i'm trading my car in, so i was going to strip out the parts.

Ill bet you find one cheaper. All you really need is the shifter itself none of those "special tools".
I used a Socket and a Screwdriver to do mine
Nothing special in there.
Or if you are a DIY'er, heat up the black metal ball on your stock shifter and slide it up. Works great and is cheap as hell.
