Cumberland, MD this weekend: AUTOCROSS

Post by Gro Harlem »

Great autocross venue at cumerland airport. It is both May 13 and 14 this weekend. Technically teh airport is in WV but its still called "Cumberland Airport" b/c you have to cross the patapsco to get to it.

I think its 30 or 35 to run, 3 heats (last time there were 4) and both days they are letting anyone race.

I have gone 3 times before. So if you want a GOOD experience autocrossing then come! I might have as many as TWO other people co-driving my car!

Gah Gro, really like those tire warmers, eh? heh.

30-35 is pretty high for 3 runs. However, the location is probably why; hope the lay-out is done nicely. Is it SCCA or NASA?

30-35 is high? thats damn chaep around here. the last SCCA sanctioned event I've been to was 40.

this one is 4 runs usually, sometimse 5. I never said 3 runs lol. The SCCA sanctioned ones are usually 2-3 around here tho b/c usually over 250 people come on a particular day to race.
