Im fairly lucky that the paint on the mazda is in pretty good nick..
As for income and out going's i run that in Xcel and know what im
spending, food/fuel/extra's/power/phone/cellphone/retirement plan/etc.
Im still amazed at all the young guys driving cars that im sure they
can't afford and yea are on tick or HP
( cos you can text there plate to a database in NZ and see if money is still
owed on it ) lol sad bugger an't I..
Getting ahead in life can be a hard struggle, and yes peaple today
think how can i measure where i am in life, that yard stick thing....
My advice, buy good gear that last's sure it cost's a lot more to start
with but the pay off in the long run of not replacing it ...
My motto do it once do it right!
Don't sell off your tools when in the pinch you never get what you
paid out for them in the first place, sometimes the credit card is
handy but don't get out of your depth on the repayments.
And yea ive made a few GREAT cock up's so none of us are perfect.

I have not had my car repainted yet so don't feel so bad. I have pretty much the same problem as you though. The prior owner had some body damage and apparently they, or one of thier friends, decided to do-it-yourself sauder and render it. The dents and dings they had were covered up by spray paint.
All of this is mostly apparent on my CarDomain page... you can see what I'm talking about...
