ignition problem.....

Post by heatherc »

lately, i've been having a problem getting my ignition to turn...it locks up...and i am not talking about the steering wheel...because i play with that too,,,just to get the key to turn. i sometimes have a problem getting the key out also...has anybody had this happen to them? is there a certain amount of pressure that ya have to put on the break pedal before you can turn the key or something? i used to have a saab that had to be put into reverse before you could take out the key from the ignition....and didn't know if my mx was just in need of some kind of repair or am i not doing something right?
thanx,
hgcmx3
