Brake Upgrade 3000gt Vr4 4piston Calipers And 11.9 Inch Rotors.

4 piston!!

I was going to buy a couple of spindles and calipers form the "HUGE Container" sale, and see what i could find close to them at the wreckers.

Pretty aggressive upgrade and one-off modification, you must be planning on some serious racing to need to go to 11.9in rotors. Let us know how the project goes.

I hate to burst a bubble, and maybe cancel a sale of my parts, but did you not know that the Probe is a 5 lug, we have only 4. That means that the rotor won't fit our car any way. He used the stock Probe hub not a Mitsu hub that is why he had to grind to get the caliper to line up with the rotor. I was really excited to see your topic too, :(
Too bad they don't make spacers that turn 4 lug into 5 lug.

corksport sells an 11" brake kit for our cars but it's like $1500 LMAO.. but anywayz that looks really sick on the probe! i'm sure if u could find some big enuff rotors that come in 4 lug pattern, you could use the mitsu 4-piston calipers.

and yes those would be BADASS for racing or just for lookin BADASS 8)

Anyone know of other cars or trucks that have a 4 bolt design?

I have never seen a probe or mx-6 strut/brake assembly, are they that different, could they not be swapped? Or mixed and matched?

Without having measured the caliper bolt distance for a probe
i don't know...

But a Mitsubishi V3000 V6 has bolt hole centers of 140mm
the MX3 is no where near that so to use the calipers you have to
get the whole lower ASSY...
